Deep tillage shanks penetrate the soil deeper than other implements. Articulated tractors using ground engaging implements can create high side loads on coulter blades and tillage shanks due to articulated-type steering. The pull package is highly recommended for use with articulated tractors.

The combination hitch allows easy connection to either standard or clevis tractor drawbars. Two 4 x 10 hydraulic cylinders raise and lower the unit evenly. The use of stroke limit collars allows the transport wheels to take the place of gauge wheels. The dual 9.5L x 15 SL - 8 ply (standard) tires or the optional 11.5L x 15.5L tires and wheels provide good ground clearance over 9 inches and still allow the 20 inch working depth. A 2000 lb. tongue jack is standard equipment.
